Hello.

In works of Nicolai Levashov (Nicolai Levashov - Wikipedia) it has been said that the Russian tzar from Romanov's dynasty Pyotr Alexeyevich Romanov (aka Peter the Great) has been switched off with a look alike impostor, while he was travelling "incognito" to Western Europe in 1697.
Who is Peter the Great: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_the_Great

That could have explained many changes that were implemented by the man on his return from that trip...
I am about 80 pages into a Pulitzer Prize winning, around900 page history of Peterand his era. An incredibly good read so far. If there was a switch, the author, Robert K. Massie, will note it. His research is impeccable and highly detailed.
