As someone mentioned here earlier, trying to mine BitCoin with your CPU will cost more money in electricity than you make mining it. There are ASIC - Application Specific Integrated Chips/Circuits that can run the BitCoin hashing algorithm at blistering speed and there are farms of these mining the coin. Only way to make money mining a coin currently is with a decent graphics card and mining Etherium. My GTX1080 makes about 3.50 a day after electricity cost.
