Is Antalya a safe place to ?

Hi,
if there is somebody from Turkey who knows the situation on the beach resort of Antalya, I would like to have some information whether this is a safe place to on holiday this spring?

Yes you will be safe in Antalya - it is a lovely place, especially the old town.Very cosmopolitan. Are you actually going to the town or further out like Side or Belek? The places to avoid are in the southeast like Sanliurfa, Urfa, Hatay/Antakya (Antioch), and maybe Gazientep (airport). All these places are on the 'Isil route' and I would not advise becoming a possible kidnap victim.

I'm sure there are many magnificent places there, but so many things are waiting for us, that no time is left for holidays.
