Look at the image... it's quite interesting.
These "sprites", as they are called, are a mysterious weather phenomenon.
I wonder if this has anything to do with Laura's "conduit" moving to that location, or maybe the approach of the wave, or both?
As is written in the article, these sprites were first discovered in 1989, so it's a possibility.
