West Bengal: Confusion ensues over decision on home delivery of liquor during lockdown

According to the excise department, the Kolkata Police will issue delivery passes to retailers through local police stations. Liquor shop owners will have to approach their respective local police stations for obtaining these passes. One shop can obtain only three delivery passes, sources say.

India is a country where poor women often launch social movement to eradicate alcohol to avoid burning of hard earned money and beating the wifes and children by drunk husbands. Now this chief minister of one state( West Bengal), wants to give home delivery of alcohol. Desperate Mamata wants to hold on to the chair in the next years state elections.

I've received this meme this morning via WhatsApp by a workmate. I've never spoken with him about esoteric stuff and I guess he's sent it to me because it is "funny" meaning that because we are locked at home we are eating too much (and unhealthy stuff too) so we are fattening up.
